Communications & Operations Officer

Ryan MacDowell joined the Teaching + Learning Lab in September 2018.

Ryan manages TLL’s communications channels to disseminate useful resources on teaching and evaluation and to engage our MIT community in TLL’s programming. He coordinates the TLL Speaker Series and Data Talks workshop series, while generally providing logistical and communications support across TLL projects.

Prior to joining MIT, Ryan founded and directed a media production company in Montreal that promoted education, social impact, and the creative arts. He graduated from McGill University (B.A. in Psychology) in 2012 and worked to design and facilitate student leadership development programming out of McGill student services.

Ryan also teaches with the ESL Program for MIT Facilities Department Employees and continues to be inspired by our MIT community.
