Communications and Events Administrator
Melissa Mangino joined the Teaching + Learning Lab in May 2022.
Melissa works collaboratively with TLL to develop communication strategies that effectively share our programs, services, and resources with MIT’s teaching and learning community and supports the overall development, publicity, and delivery of virtual and in-person TLL programs, events, and projects.
Prior to joining TLL, Melissa provided administrative and communications support to MIT D-Lab, which works with people around the world to develop and advance collaborative approaches and practical solutions to global poverty challenges.
Before coming to MIT, Melissa taught World History & Geography, Participation in Government, and Economics to high school students in the Albany, NY, area. She also has many years of experience in K-12 education advocacy, community outreach, media literacy, and public engagement.
Melissa holds an MA in Secondary Education from the University at Albany and a BA in Government from Western New England University.
