Lessons Learned from Remote Teaching & Learning

Looking back, moving forward

There can be no debate that teaching and learning throughout the pandemic were exhausting and stressful. At the same time, MIT faculty and instructors found many new ways to provide robust, meaningful learning experiences; to foster student engagement; and to support student well-being and belonging. These resources highlight the wide range of innovative practices that emerged during remote teaching and can and should be employed moving forward as we continue to improve teaching and strengthen learning at MIT.
